Wow, what a great introduction to the Moretti Dynasty Series. This is the prequel to the series and features Valentina and Matteo. It begins with Valentina as a barefoot runaway bride clutching a flash drive. She fled when she found out her fiance had infiltrated her fashion company's shipping supply chain for nefarious reasons. Matteo is the CEO of a global security company and protects her from her fiance and his goons. As with most mafia romances there's no shortage of danger, drama or steam. No plot spoiler, but this is a book you want to read and a series not to be missed. A happy ending, no cliffhanger and a great three books to look forward to. I read a free arc via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.
